106th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Periodontology
We are pleased to speak at this year’s virtual Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Periodontology with Dr. Claudio Cacaci to be among the speakers. It is one of the most important congresses in the USA and will take place virtually from November 6-15, 2020 in collaboration with the Japanese Society of Periodontology

We are convinced of this foundation and support it with a monthly donation.
The AKM Foundation supports families with terminally ill and life-threatening unborn babies, newborns, children, adolescents and young adults in Munich and throughout Bavaria. The team of full-time doctors, psychologists, nurses and social workers is supported by over 160 volunteers in the areas of crisis intervention, family and grief support. The aim should be to be a firm support for the families during this difficult time and to give them moments of safety, security and normality. “Changes in the surface characteristics of titanium and zirconium implants after surface treatment with UV light or non-thermal plasma”
The research group from the University Hospital Hamburg Eppendorf led by Prof Dr. Dr. Ralf Smeets, who is also Dr. Cacaci, has been working on improving the surface characteristics of titanium and zirconium implants for some time. The research group publishes its results in the most recognized scientific journals and is enthusiastic about the results of its research.
Dr. Claudio Cacaci: “With relatively simple devices, we manage to significantly improve the bony healing behavior of titanium or ceramic implants. This methodology is used on patients every day in our practice and the clinical results inspire us every time. Scientific research into these procedures is the basis of our treatment of patients.”

MUNICH DENTISTRY IS AT THE TOP
“Sandmaier Zahntechnik celebrates great success at the second Sandmair Get-2-Gether in Munich”
The second Sandmair Get-2-Gether lured people over the rooftops of Munich. 197 dentists visited the roof top of the Mercedes Benz Tower in January 2017. Surprise guest Dr. Galip Gürel relies on digital communication. Dr. Dr. showed that Munich dentistry does not have to shy away from international comparison. Peter Randelzhofer from the Munich Implant Competence Center.
January 20, 2017 was all about modern dentistry. Father Ludwig Sandmair and son ZTM Daniel Sandmair mobilized speakers, sponsors and dentists for more than a year after the premiere in 2015. With success. 197 guests followed the call and came over the rooftops of Munich to the roof top of the Mercedes Benz Tower. She expected a first-class program with top-class speakers.
It started with the surprise guest Dr. Galip Gurel from Istanbul. His thesis: Digital communication supports dentists in achieving first-class goals. Because where you would otherwise have to make compromises due to time constraints or being too far away, these can now be avoided using Skype, WhatsUp and other messenger services. Dr. Gürel himself connects with an international network of experts for his treatments.

It was a completely new and exciting experience to be part of such a production.
